Dear AETTNL Member;

AETTNL is seeking Nominations from the certified membership for positions on AETTNL Council for 2018-19. Openings available include:

  • President;
  • Vice President; and
  • Councillors: Eastern Area 1 and Eastern Area 2.

Being involved in a volunteer leadership role in the profession and elected to serve on Council offers many opportunities to:

  • Share your expertise;
  • Learn about other aspects of the profession and the Association’s structure; and
  • Gain a wealth of information, give back and influence the future of the profession.

Volunteering will include attending meetings, assisting the Stakeholder’s Committee with industry events, advocacy and outreach. Technicians and Technologists who sit on Council are regarded for their knowledge and expertise. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding experience that will make a difference to the profession, joining the AETTNL Council maybe your opportunity.

Please forward your Nomination Letter directly to the AETTNL via email aettnl@aettnl.com on or before October 10, 2018. It will be shared via email and posted on www.aettnl.com. Results of the election will be announced at the 50th AGM on November 3, 2018.

AETTNL 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM):
In accordance with the AETTNL Constitution/By-Laws, notice is hereby given once again, to Members of the Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologists of Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. that the 50th AGM will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Holiday Inn St. John’s Conference, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John’s.

On Friday, November 2, 2018, there will be an opening reception and on Saturday, following the meeting there will be an Awards Luncheon. A block of guest rooms has been secured for November 1 to 3, 2018. Please see the AETTNL website for more information.
