The 57th Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on October 25th, 2025, at the Ramada Hotel in St. John’s, providing a welcoming and professional setting for members to gather.

The evening before our AGM, members gathered for a lively Social in a private section of the Hotel restaurant. With delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great music setting the tone, everyone had the chance to relax and connect. Conversations flowed easily—from sharing stories about workplaces and professions to chatting about personal lives—making it a wonderful opportunity to strengthen bonds and celebrate our community.

The day of the AGM began with a Council Meeting, where important updates and discussions set the stage for the rest of the event. Council members reviewed ongoing initiatives, shared progress reports, and outlined priorities for the year ahead, ensuring everyone was aligned before moving into the formal proceedings.

Following the council meeting, members transitioned into the AGM itself. This session provided an opportunity to reflect on the past year, highlight achievements, and discuss future goals for AETTNL. Reports were presented, motions were carried, and members had the opportunity to engage directly in shaping the association’s direction. It was a productive and collaborative meeting that underscored the strength of our community.

The afternoon concluded with a lunch featuring guest speaker Leonard Lye and an awards presentation, which celebrated excellence and recognized contributions across the profession. Members enjoyed networking in a relaxed setting while honouring award recipients.

To capture the occasion, our photographer provided professional photos and headshots, ensuring everyone left with both memories and a polished profile image.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors, Manulife, TD Insurance, and The College of the North Atlantic, for their contributions and for ensuring the success of our event.
