Stakeholder Committee Report

Colleagues,

The stakeholders committee strives to promote the association and the value of certification, with emphasis on making us known to our stakeholders.  Our ongoing involvement in doing presentations at the College of the North Atlantic and the Marine Institute, promoting our industry information package, and representing AETTNL at other professional associations’ functions is important in making people aware of “who we are and what we do”; and this work continues.

In support of promoting the association, the committee is eager to recognize the valuable work of our office staff to transition AETTNL into the social media world. Their work to develop, organize, and manage our promotion on various social media sites has done well to reach existing members of the association and provide association information to interested people and groups.  We also recognize their work of actively maintaining contact with members, and in distributing our industry information package.  The committee, and the association, appreciates the valuable work of Sharon Beattie and Paula Hayes in managing and promoting AETTNL.

The interest of our valued stakeholders is foremost in our activities to promote our association, the value of certification, and the technology profession in Canada.  We believe that by utilizing our valuable human resources, technology, and collaboration, we will a build the memberships of our provincial associations, and acknowledgment of the value we provide as technology professionals.

We look forward to continuing this work and thank everyone for their participation.

Respectfully,

Newton C. Pritchett, BTech, PTech
