The Management Analyst IID is responsible for leading a group of biomedical engineering technologists and developing procedures/policies within the Healthcare Technology and Data Management department. This will also include leading the design/setup, analysis, development and support of database systems; providing specialized developmental training; maintaining related databases and internal processes including auditing; analyzing reports and identifying areas of quality improvement and implementing those improvements in consultation with the departmental employees and the manager.

Visual concentration is required to generate reports, update databases and spreadsheets, and check statistical analysis for accuracy
Graduation from approved/recognized three-year Biomedical Engineering Technology Program supplemented by a Bachelor of Technology degree is required.
Minimum of four years of experience within the last six working in an engineering or engineering technology field including experience with equipment management, contracts, tenders, and/or databases management is required.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives is required.
Experience in AIMs (Asset Information Management System) is required.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Knowledge of clinical medical applications and diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
Knowledge of Health Canada, CSA, ECRI, AMMI and other standard organizations.
Knowledge of change management and its best principles and practices as they pertain to project management. ????
Demonstrated strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse reports and financial assessments.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated strong policy writing skills.
