Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Project Controls Team in the role of Junior Planner.
Working with the Project Management Team, this position will be responsible for the development and progressing of multi-discipline engineering schedules for the execution of offshore brownfield modifications. From project inception through to closeout, the Junior Planner will provide essential support to ensure delivery targets are achieved for Wood clients.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will strive to deliver timely solutions while maintaining a customer focus. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field of Project Management.
Skills / Qualifications
Ideal candidates for the role of Junior Planner should possess the following qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a technical environment.
- Experience working in an Engineering environment or in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- A Technical Diploma, Business/Commerce Degree, or an Engineering Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Strong computer skills.
- Highly effective organization and planning skills.
