As a valued member of our Team, your key responsibilities will include developing
and implementing outreach plans for business customers; developing relationships
with key stakeholders; managing new program participant leads; making continuous
improvement to current programs; establishing and monitoring program budgets;
reviewing projects to determine technical eligibility and performing on-site inspections
to confirm project details; and, maintaining knowledge of local, national and industry
trends and legislation regarding energy conservation technologies and programs. You
will represent takeCHARGE’s suite of business and residential programs at trade shows
and forums, and deliver presentations for schools, associations, municipalities and other
stakeholders. Newfoundland Power customer relations work will also be required.
Your qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Environmental Science,
a 3-year diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical), or related
discipline, supplemented with relevant experience. An equivalent combination of
education and experience may be considered. Previous project management experience
is an asset. You must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
You are creative and motivated with strong analytical, organizational and customer
service skills and thrive in a team environment. You have a keen interest in energy
efficiency and a demonstrated aptitude for understanding energy efficiency
technologies. You have a proven ability to generate results, manage multiple projects,
build strong partnerships and meet tight deadlines. Travel will be required.
